Brian Kennedy is Kintyre’s CEO, that is, Chief Everything Officer. The company provides technology services to businesses to enable them to measure, optimize, and execute their business strategies through the collection, management, and analysis of big data. It currently counts Amazon Web Services, splunk, and Red Hat among its partners.
Before founding the company, Brian spent seven years as an executive at Turnberry Solutions, named after the Turnberry Resort in Scotland. The second of the three courses in this resort is called Kintyre, where Brian’s company got its name. “It is important to us to acknowledge that we were ‘born out of’ Turnberry Solutions, and thought there was no better way to honor that connection than with our brand’s name,” he says. Brian adds that Kintyre maintains a close partnership with Turnberry Solutions and continues to work with its personnel and clients. Moreover, four of Kintyre’s founding employees also held engineering roles at Turnberry, creating an even deeper connection between the two companies.
Kintyre does a lot of its data intelligence work at The Mill. According to Brian, “We like working at The Mill for the great atmosphere, friendly environment, and helpful staff.”
