Nathan Cronk has accomplished a lot in his five years as a visual storyteller. After graduating from Houghton College, he travelled across the globe, from the jungles of East Africa to peace talks in Eastern Europe. He eventually landed in Washington D.C. where he became the co-founder of a video production house called InterMotion Media, which produced content for the United States Institute of Peace.

Two years ago, he moved to Delaware and founded Big River Film Co., a team of creatives that produce heartfelt, ambitious video productions for clients around the world. He shares, “Telling great stories is at the heart of excellent filmmaking. We strive to produce videos for our clients that connect with viewers in an authentic and lasting way.”

Big River Film Co. is named for the Genesee River in Nathan’s native state of New York. He says, “That river holds some of the best stories for me, and I still love getting out on it in a kayak or a canoe whenever I can. That was also the same river that fed the crops of my grandparent’s family farm for several generations.”

Like most startups, Big River Film Co. needed a way to serve its local clients on a budget. Nathan says, “With its beautiful conference rooms and well-appointed desk spaces, The Mill has been the perfect solution for us–our clients are always impressed.” He adds that The Mill has served as a ‘creative gateway’ for his team, “It’s a space where we can get away from our day-to-day office, grab a cup of coffee, meet a few new faces, and gain some inspiration on whatever projects we might be working on.”

The Mill

The Mill is a coworking space in Wilmington, Delaware, that provides shared workspace for entrepreneurs, remote workers, startups and established businesses.
